Factory watchman García has finally fulfilled his wedding promise to his wife Amalia: to buy her a house. But everything changes when she is kidnapped. With rundown ex-cop Gomez in tow, García begins to track Amalia down—and so begins a bizarre ride through a world of narcotrafficking and violence.

García is a simple man with an uneventful life, until he finds himself on the verge of obtaining the one thing he most desires. Complications ensue in this whimsical journey—part comedy, part gangster film—which takes many routes to follow its endearing characters and unfold its absurdist plot.
