School of Rock

Comedy Dewey Finn (Jack Black) is fired from his rock band and takes a job as a 4th grade substitute teacher at a private school. Dewey finds out that his students are quite talented musicians so he decides to train them to play and win the "battle of bands" rock band competiton, which will solve all of his money problems and re-establish himself as a respected rocker.
