- Changin’s Times is the title of an extraordinary album that was released in 1976 and was recorded in no less extraordinary circumstances. The artist, Ike White, was a prodigy of the music he had been in prison since he was 19 serving a life sentence for murder. Produced by the legendary Jerry Goldstein, the album became Ike's passage to freedom. But, on the cusp of stardom, Ike abandoned the spotlights, changed his name and disappeared. This is his story.
