- Synopsis
- In 1948, Lenny Bruce was just another comic who couldn't get arrested. By 1961, all that would change. The documentary sheds new light on Bruce’s early career as an apolitical mimic; once he becomes a furious satirist, it shows the stresses of stardom, drugs, and censorship taking a sad physical toll.
