Synopsis: The movie is a portrait of the interesting life of a married couple. Antonia, a small woman, with memorable features etched on her face by time, with great spirit, milks her cows at the dawn, but refuses to assist in the birth of a calf. Charrito, a man in whom the passing of the years can be seen in the effort he must make everyday to work his land, without any regrets, walks a path in the dark of dawn to begin his work, and acts as midwife in the birthing of one of his cows. Told through the point of view of these two characters, the movie makes us reflect on the lifestyle of people that live outside of the cities. It is the mystery of the darkness and the impressive fog that comes with the dawn, a glimpse of a world that seems nonexistent nowadays; the world of self sufficiency, a full old age, and the joy of life. It is the silence that speaks all day and cries out for us to listen to a fascinating and beautiful world that is fading away; the starry sky asking us with every twinkle to turn and look at it for a moment, to think, to feel what we are living, where we live and how we live.
