- Synopsis
- The Korean sci-fi action thriller YESTERDAY is a futuristic inquiry into the ethical ramifications of science and technology. In the unified Korea of 2020, world-weary police detective Seok (Seung-woo Kim) and his partner May (Seon-a Kim) investigate the murders of a group of scientists involved in a decades-long, government-sponsored genetic experiment. When the daring serial killer kidnaps the chief of police, Seok's team is joined by the officer's forensics expert daughter Hui-su (Yoon-jin Kim), setting into motion a suspenseful game of cat-and-mouse.
