Synopsis

Edith Iglauer, a fast-paced New York journalist who likes nice things and high culture, reluctantly accepts an assignment to cover the fishing industry in British Columbia. When she encounters loner fisherman John Daly, the two get on each others' nerves from the beginning. However, the sparring belies a simmering romantic tension that takes over when the two find themselves in a dangerous situation with only each other to rely upon.
