Synopsis

A young friar, upon witnessing the death of a heretic at the stake, discovers his hatred for the Holy Inquisition. But, suddenly, he finds himself involved by the grand inquisitor in a macabre game. Repression and torture spread their networks and emerge in the cruelty that he previously repudiated. A fascinating story of satanic crimes, brutality, sin and betrayal in the sordid atmosphere of the monasteries, in the mysterious silence of God. The young friar would be, in turn, the most bloodthirsty of judges.
