- Synopsis
- The young son of a poor immigrant forgets his violin, apparently very valuable, in a pastry shop. A customer notices the instrument and rushes to inform a rich, music-loving friend. By triggering a fantastic auction, the pastry chef and his wife find themselves at the heart of a moral dilemma that they negotiate in a rather comical way.
