Synopsis

TV Series (2004-2005). 2 Seasons. 26 Episodes. Ava Gregory lives the California dream – a clothes designer who left her steady job at one of the world's high-profile fashion houses in order to chase her dream of owning her own label. She surfs every morning and lives in a beautiful beach house with three of her closest friends in the world –a life filled with unlimited possibility, promise and good times. But when her older sister and brother-in-law are killed in an accident in Ava's Kansas hometown, she takes custody and responsibility for their three children – 17 year-old Bradin, 14 year-old Nikki and 10 year-old Derrick. And, now, after several months of learning to be a family, they have grown accustomed to living together, but, they must learn more about themselves as they grow as a family unit. Summerland tells the story of this blended family unit against the backdrop of the sun, surf and sand.
