- The life and work of Gustav Mahler in a film biography by Franz Winter, filmed in the original locations, with original, unpublished material, based on Uri Caine's commitment as a composer to Mahler's music. This film covers the composer's youth, his times in Prague and Attersee, his engagements in the opera houses of Budapest and Vienna, his marriage to Alma Mahler, the death of his daughter Maria Anna, his time in New York, his work the Tenth Symphony and his death.
