Synopsis

TV Miniseries (2010). 6 Episodes. Arising from the success of the film trilogy "Millennium", film adaptation of the original books by Stieg Larsson, one of the biggest mass phenomena of recent literature. With new scenes added and with Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist reprising their leading roles. The investigation into the disappearance of Harriet Vanger 40 years ago was closed by the police, but in the Vanger clan, there is still someone who still remembers her: her uncle Henrik. To clarify the circumstances of what he is sure is a murder committed by a member of his own family, he decides to hire Mikael Blomkvist, an investigative journalist indicted for libel. To achieve his goal, Blomkvist will have the help of Lisbeth Salander, an antisocial hacker with an impressive intelligence and photographic memory. Their investigations will lead them to a dark family history, but the clan will be willing to do anything to protect themselves.
