Synopsis

Rodeo Girl is an introspective, psychological thriller about a successful Manhattan novelist, Jade Harper, with mild schizoaffective disorder and an estranged father, who returns home to write a book on her hometown history. She dives into her work, but finds herself distracted by the history of her own family when she begins to uncover what had been reported in the local paper as a series of accidents. She comes to believe that these were not accidents at all, but a series of murders - her grandmother, her grandfather, her mother.... The question then becomes, is there a connection, or is it all in her head, brought on by her disease, the stress of facing her estranged father and the overactive imagination of a writer?
