Miss Sloane

Jessica Chastain owns this role - the strong, driven, exceedingly capable and flawed 'alpha' female who doesn't know when to quit no matter the cost. Reminiscent of her performance in Zero Dark Thirty though a character with less admirable motivations at heart to be sure. A great supporting cast, lots of plot twists, and a very satisfying finish. A few incredulous plot moments however I loved it the way I loved Michael Clayton. Thoroughly watchable.

Very difficult to follow up until about halfway due to very fast dialogue and lots of it. Interesting enough storyline and ok twist but nothing spectacular. Jessica Chastain and her flawless face and red lipstick had their moments but for the most part overacted a one dimensional cliche character that was totally unbelievable.

I was not sure about this movie at first. I was really surprised. It was a great movie. I never watch movies twice but this one I did a couple of days apart. It was even better the second time. Second time, seeing the clever set ups and watching things unfold with eager anticipation . Great Trump card.
