Sex and The Single Girl

In this hilarious sex-comedy romp, editor Bob Weston (Curtis) impersonates his best friend, unhappily married Frank (Henry Fonda), and pretends to be suicidal over his unhappy marriage in order to get an appointment with Dr. Helen Brown (Wood). But when Bob and Helen start to fall in love--despite their best attempts not to--and Helen insists on meeting Frank's wife, a comedy of errors and mistaken identities twists into a hilarious knot in this happy farce.
