- A middle-aged woman named Florence (Angèle Coutu) is abandoned by her wealthy husband and moves into a cheap, dilapidated hotel in downtown Montreal where she develops relationships with the eternally optimistic owner Gloria (Béatrice Picard) and her deaf son Mike (Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge).
