- In the story, Katsu Kaizou is a former student of the Genius Cram School (Tensai Juku) but his childhood friend Natori Umi accidentally turned him into an idiot (and possibly insane) by injuring his head. Kaizou's crazy ideas caused an explosion that forced the Genius Cram School to shut down. Even years later when Kaizou is in high school, his former classmates have come looking for payback. So, Kaizou, Umi, and the other members of their high school science club are shown in the most surreal situations.
