- Synopsis
- TV series (2016-). First season: 6 episodes. Based on the novel of the same name by John Le Carré published in 1993. Former British soldier Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) is recruited by agent Burr (Olivia Colman), of the intelligence services, to infiltrate the network of an international arms dealer led by Richard Onslow Roper (Hugh Laurie). To do so, Pine will approach Onslow's closest circle, consisting of his girlfriend Jed (Elizabeth Debicki) and his partner Corcoran (Tom Hollander).
