Synopsis

TV series (2020- ). 4 seasons. 28 episodes. Remake of the 1978-1990 series focusing on the adventures of a veterinary practice team in 1930s and 1940s Yorkshire. The eccentric Siegfried Farnon decides to hire the recently graduated James Herriot as an assistant in his veterinary practice at Skaldale House, Darrowby, a village located in the Yorkshire Dales. Alongside them, we meet Siegfried's younger brother Tristan; the lovely Helen, daughter of a local farmer; and Mrs. Hall, the housekeeper of the mansion.
