- Synopsis
- John-John, a dark-skinned 16-year-old guy, lives in a concrete suburb on the outskirts of Stockholm together with his mother and detested stepfather, ''Shithead''. John-John and his best friend, Sluggo, spend the summer days looking at girls and indulging in petty crime. By accident, John-John meets Elisabeth who lives in the upper class area on the other side of the bay. The summer ends, it is time to start at high school and Elisabeth and John-John end up in the same class. It develops into a contemporary Romeo and Juliet, where John-John and Elisabeth's love is put to the test by class differences and racism.
