Synopsis
Millionaire E. J. Reid's daughter Joyce is in love with her handsome but penniless flying instructor, Dan Bailey, and makes a public announcement of her determination to secure his affection. Joyce ignores Dan's orders not to fly her father's airplane solo, and she performs many dangerous maneuvers. Later, E. J. fires Dan and forbids his daughter from seeing him. When E. J. learns that Joyce is still infatuated with her instructor, he sends Dan and his droll mechanic, Andy Nelson, to China to prevent their romance from developing further. Joyce, however, decides to follow her sweetheart, and becomes a stowaway on board the ship carrying them to the Orient. En route, Dan, Andy and Joyce are abducted by bandit chief Dr. Wong, who has bribed the captain of the ship to let him steal the ship's cargo, which consists of airplanes manufactured by Joyce's father. When the ship docks, Dr. Wong holds Joyce for ransom and threatens to kill her unless Dan and Andy fly the stolen airplanes for him. Later, Dan forces Dr. Wong at gunpoint to release Joyce, but when Joyce wrecks the airplane in which they planned to escape, she and Andy steal an automobile and flee with Wong as their hostage. As Wong's bandits follow Joyce and Andy in pursuit, Dan flies over the car containing Wong's men and drops a bomb on them. Finally safe from the bandits menace and E. J., Dan and Joyce resume their romance.
