Synopsis
Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is going up against a new group of adversaries: “a network of highly skilled special agents” called the Syndicate that use terrorist attacks as their calling card. In addition to working with longtime colleague Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames), and fellow former IMF agents (the IMF has since been disbanded) played by Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner, Ethan teams up this time around with a disavowed British agent — the awesomely named Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson). But is Ilsa a member of the evil Syndicate (a.k.a. “the rogue nation”)? Where exactly did Ethan find that phone booth?
