Synopsis
This classic silent film tells the story of a Kurdish boy Saydo and his girlfriend Zare and their struggle for the right to love and happiness. The film, considered to be the first made about Kurdish life, was directed by Amo Beknazaryan, a major star of Russian silent cinema and later the founder of Armenian cinema.
