In the rural Alabama of 1950, the pianist and owner of a small joint hopes to save the place from closure by hiring the biggest blues guitar player of the moment, Guitar Sam. On the day of the show, the train arrives and Guitar Sam is nowhere to be found. Tyrone has to take drastic action not to lose this big make-or-break opportunity.
