- Synopsis
- She Knew All the Answers is an early 40's comedy revolving around the attraction of gullible fuddy duddy Mark Willows (Franchot Tone) to ballsy chorus girl Gloria Winters (Joan Bennett). Under the impression that she is someone else entirely, Willows gives Winters a job. He doesn't realize that she is the chorus girl he forbade his ward from marrying, and that Winters' plan is to con him into signing a document so that she can marry the playboy Randy anyway. At first, Franchot's character is a wide-eyed, rather ditzy businessman, but a night at Coney Island proves to the street-wise Gloria that he can be young and a lot of fun, too.
