SYNOPSIS/PLOT

Set in Europe circa 1943, it recreates the events leading up to and following a horrifying tragedy. The commander of a B-17 Flying Fortress Bomber loses his life in an air raid over Sicily; his replacement, a neophyte pilot, must struggle to gain the acceptance and approval of the plane's mostly Irish crew.
