Summer has just begun. The highways and county roads are full of people anxious to get to the beach. Ana, Daniel, and their son, Manuel, have spent the summer there for the past four years. All three feel at home there. Beatriz is one of the local people. She has a cousin named Robert, who devotes the winter months to his antique business in Gerona. One morning, Robert sees Ana greeting Beatriz, and feels an immediate attraction. Beatriz, in turn, confesses her secret weakness: she finds Daniel, Ana’s husband, attractive.
