| PRO REVIEWS |
----------------------------------------
First reviews and comments from the press are told that the comedy is very funny. (FILMAFFINITY) ----------------------------------------
"Charming romantic comedy (...) Somewhere between 'The Purple Rose of Cairo' and 'Cinderella,' the forty-second film Woody Allen is delicious (...) And, yes, in the role of a guide for tourists, Carla Bruni is perfect." (François Forestier: Le Nouvel Observateur) ----------------------------------------
"Woody’s in good form and Paris looks glorious in this droll time-traveling fantasy. (...) the film has the concision and snappy pace of Allen’s best work". (Todd McCarthy: Variety)
----------------------------------------
"A self-aware Allen plays with his own weakness for nostalgia. (...) I’m guessing the French will say, “Charming! But what city is that? Wish I lived there." (Lisa Schwarzbaum: Entertainment Weekly)
----------------------------------------
"It is marvelously romantic, even though — or precisely because — it acknowledges the disappointment that shadows every genuine expression of romanticism" (A. O. Scott: The New York Times)
