- Synopsis
- Marcus Aylesbury, you are a successful lawyer with a beautiful wife, a gorgeous son, and a fabulous house. So what the hell are you doing wrong? Your wife Iona feels abandoned and unloved so she’s spending allyour money on shrinks and clothes she will never wear. And someone out there’s about to offer her a little loving, if you know what I mean? And whose to blame her, she’s going to need some comfort when her best friend, Stephen, is beaten half to death. No one knows if he’sgoing to pull through. And what the hell was he doing with three boys in his apartment in the middle of the night anyway? Now your boss is persuading you to overlook what he calls a minor professional indiscretion. But can you call it minor when it could landyou in prison for insider trading because your best friend Trent, a journalist, is considering selling you up the river. Meanwhile, on the other side of London, Gloria, a single mother and prostitute has just discovered that she is seriously ill.
