| PRO REVIEWS |
----------------------------------------
"A noisy, universe-rattling spectacle full of sound and fury with a suitably epic design, solid digital effects and a healthy respect for the comic-book" (Megan Lehmann: New York Post)
----------------------------------------
"Turn off the snark-o-meter, and this is a return to form for Marvel, introducing a new hero we’ll be happy to see again in, oh, about a year or so [The Avengers]. (...) Rating: **** (out of five)" (Chris Hewitt: Empire)
----------------------------------------
Thor comes on like thunder, delivering epic fireworks that don’t neglect the dramatic sparks ignited (...) [Hemsworth] doesn’t just play the role, he owns it. (...) Rating: *** (out of four)" (Peter Travers: Rolling Stone)
----------------------------------------
"Though it may not leave a lasting impression once the lights go up, Thor is lighthearted and thunderously good fun (...) Rating: *** (out of four)" (Claudia Puig: USA Today)
----------------------------------------
“Thor” is an example of the programmed triumph of commercial calculation over imagination (...) There is no reason to go to this movie, which might be another way of saying there’s no reason not to" (A. O. Scott: The New York Times)
