- Synopsis
- Singing, dancing and showgirls galore enliven this musical comedy set in the famed New York nightclub "The Copacabana." Groucho Marx, sans brothers, appears as sleazy theatrical agent Lionel Devereaux; his one client is none other than fruit-bedecked songstress Carmen Miranda. Comic shenanigans ensue when Devereaux books her for two appearances in the club on the same night -- as two different people! The singer is forced to turn quick-change artist as she attempts to perform both shows simultaneously.
