- Synopsis
- Raffaele vive a Napoli, dove studia, ma viene richiamato al paese per dare l'ultimo saluto alla nonna Sabella, morente. Appena arrivato scopre che la nonna non è morente affatto e che ha architettato lo stratagemma per fare sposare il nipote con la figlia di un ricco paesano. Ma Raffaele non ne vuol sapere. Attorno a loro ruotano Lucia, vecchia compagna di scuola di Raffaele, innamorata di lui; Carmelina, sorella di Sabella, in attesa da venti anni di sposare il suo pretendente e tutto il paese, di fatto tenuto in pugno da nonna Sabella. L'arrivo di Raffaele farà da detonatore e tutte le situazioni si risolveranno con la sconfitta (apparente) di nonna Sabella.
