Greg McLean hit the nail on the head in the same way that made Wolf Creek a horror movie gem: extensive tension, action and well-measured action and brutality and, above all, stories based on true events. A group of tourists in the middle of a cruise across an Australian nature reserve see their idyllic vacations disrupted by a giant crocodile attack. McLean dives into these dangerous waters with the help of Radha Mitchell (Woody Allen’s Melinda), Michael Vartan (one of the leading actors in the Alias series) and with a reptile protagonist of enormous size created especially for the occasion.
