God loses faith in humanity and sends his legion of angels to wipe out the human race for the second time. Mankind's only hope lies in a group of misfits holed up in a diner in the desert who are aided by the archangel Michael (Bettany). "Legion" marks the feature directorial debut of FX effects expert Scott Stewart.
PRO REVIEWS
----------------------------------------
"Amid a bull market for end-of-days tales, 'Legion' stands out for its explicitly biblical underpinnings and its claustrophobia" (Mike Hale: The New York Times) ----------------------------------------
"There are a couple of decent action scenes, and Bettany approaches the slapped-together script with impressive seriousness (...) Rating: ** (out of five)"
(Elizabeth Weitzman: New York Daily News) ----------------------------------------
"A ridiculous piece of hokum that is far more fun than it has a right to be" (Frank Scheck: The Hollywood Reporter) ----------------------------------------
